Adria is one of 34 girls who have been invited to attend the 2021 U16 National Team Trials in Indianapolis, June 10-17, 2021. 
 
The Developmental National Team Committee will identify the final 12-member team.  Those who make the final roster will immediately begin training camp before traveling to Santiago, Chile to participate in the 2021 FIBA Americas U16 Championship on August 16-22.

Athletes competing in the Trials will be evaluated by the Committee based on playing ability, versatility, coachability, size, position, current playing status and success, availability, attitude and future potential.  The Trials will feature individual skills and position work, drills and scrimmages.

Thirty-Four Athletes to Attend 2021 USA Womens U16 National Team Trials

Trials for the 2021 USA Basketball Women’s U16 National Team will feature 34 athletes competing for one of 12 roster spots from June 13-16 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The trials roster includes 22 athletes who were invited by the USA Basketball Women’s Developmental National Team Committee and 12 athletes who were accepted to trials as applicants. Players eligible for the 2021 USA Basketball Women’s U16 National Team must be U.S. citizens born on or after Jan. 1, 2005.
The trials roster includes 20 athletes from the class of 2023, including: Cori Allen (Hilsboro H.S./Nashville, Tenn.); Olivia Anderson (Ellensburg H.S./Ellensburg, Wash.); Kamorea “KK” Arnold (Germantown H.S./Germantown, Wis.); Madison Booker (Germantown H.S./Ridgeland, Miss.); Zoe Brooks (Trenton Catholic Academy/Plainfield, N.J.); Breya Cunningham (La Jolla Country Day School/Chula Vista, Calif.); Jadyn Donovan (Sidwell Friends School/Upper Marlboro, Md.); Milaysia Fulwiley (W.J. Keenan H.S./Columbia, S.C.); Jordy Griggs (Spain Park H.S./Hoover, Ala.); Mary Ashley Groot (Cardinal Newman H.S., S.C./New York, N.Y.); Madisyn Jordan (Panther Creek H.S./Morrisville, N.C.); Adria Lincoln (Monroe H.S./Monroe, Wash.); Margaret Mendelson (Fremont H.S./North Ogden, Utah); Jorynn Ross (John Cooper H.S./Woodlands, Texas); Taliah Scott (Oakleaf H.S./Orange Park, Fla.); Grace Slaughter (Grain Valley H.S./Grain Valley, Mo.); Riley Stack (Wren H.S./Anderson, S.C.); Delaney Thomas (St. John's College H.S./Charles Town, W.V.); Judea "JuJu" Watkins (Windward School/Los Angeles, Calif.); and Jada Williams (Blue Springs H.S./Blue Springs, Mo.).From the class of 2024 will be 13 athletes, including: Jaloni Cambridge (Ensworth H.S./Nashville, Tenn.); Justice Carlton (Seven Lakes H.S./Katy, Texas); Kendall Dudley (Sidwell Friends School, D.C./Manassas Park, Va.); Joyce Edwards (Camden H.S./Camden, S.C.); Tatum Greene (McDonogh School/Baltimore, Md.); Ella Hobbs (Jay M. Robinson H.S./Mooresville, N.C.); Kiyomi McMiller (Good Counsel H.S./Silver Spring, Md.); Olivia Olson (Benilde-St. Margaret's/New Hope, Minn.); Taliyah Parker (Putnam City West/Oklahoma City, Okla.); Cameron Rust (Worcester Academy, Mass./South Kingstown, R.I.); Chloe Spreen (Bedford North Lawrence H.S./Bedford, Ind.); Kennedy Umeh (McDonogh School/Columbia, Md.); and Ava Watson (Buford H.S./Flowery Branch, Ga.).
Aubrey Shaw (Blue Valley North H.S./Overland Park, Kan.) is a member of the class of 2025.“The committee is excited about the 34 athletes who are set to attend, and we expect this to be a very competitive trials,” said Carol Callan, chair of the USA Basketball Women’s Developmental National Team committee, which is responsible for selecting the USA coaches and athletes, and the USA Basketball Women’s National Team Director. “We hope that all of the participants get better through this experience, and we are grateful for their participation.
“In a normal year, we would have had a full complement of invited and applicant athletes. While that was not possible this year, we plan to get back to that process next year.”
Seven athletes return with experience from the 2019 USA U16 National Team trials, including Brooks, Cunningham, Griggs, Scott, Slaughter, Watkins and Williams.
Ten invitees from the class of 2023 are listed on the ESPN Terrific 25 rankings, including: No. 1 Watkins; No. 3 Fulwiley; No. 5 Arnold; No. 7 Cunningham; No. 9 Booker; No. 11 Donovan; No. 13 Williams; No. 14 Scott; No. 21 Mendelson; and No. 25 Thomas.
Eleven members of the class of 2024 are featured on the ESPN Watch List, including: Cambridge, Carlton, Dudley, Edwards, Hobbs, McMiller, Olson, Parker, Rust, Spreen and Watson.
The USA will be led by Sue Phillips (Archbishop Mitty/San Jose Cagers) with assistant coaches Tom McConnell (Indiana University Pennsylvania) and Sophia Witherspoon (Fort Pierce Central H.S., Fla.).
Due to safety precautions, media will not be permitted to attend trials. USA Basketball will provide media with photos and b-roll to assist in coverage of the trials.
The committee is expected to name the 12-member roster on June 16, and the selected athletes will remain in Indianapolis for training through June 19 before returning home.
The team will gather for training camp on Aug. 4, before the team departs for the competition, which is expected to be played Aug. 16-22 in Santiago, Chile.
The top four finishing teams at the 2021 FIBA Americas U16 Championship will qualify for the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup. 
In addition to Callan, the USA Basketball Developmental National Team Committee includes: athlete representatives Tamika Catchings and DeLisha Milton-Jones; AAU appointee Kevin Lynch; NFHS appointee Jill Schneider; and at-large representatives Kirsten Moore and Mia Smith.
A biennial event launched in 2009 and open to athletes 16 years old or younger, the FIBA Americas U16 Championship features eight national teams from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean. The USA Basketball women claimed the gold medal in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2017 and 2019 and the bronze medal in 2015 and are 30-1 in FIBA Americas U16 Championship action.
