Those stats included a couple of double doubles at the beginning of the season with 20 plus rebounds. She is one of the best athletes on the list, which is big reason for her #3 ranking. - Justin Prather, Prep Girls Hoops WA, 2/22/2023 Devin's Standouts: Top Performances Everyone already knows how good of a player she is on the court. MEDIA & PRESS (Past Seasons) 2023 Players to Watch For "Adria has amazing anticipation on the glass. She has a great presence down low, and her post moves are impressive as well. She has a great first step from the 3 point line too, easily blowing by her defenders with a nice little cross over move. Her transition game is smooth, as she can run the court with the ball or without. She fills the lanes nicely when running without the ball and can keep her dribble running down the court with the ball too. Lincoln also has a nice shot from deep, her offensive game is extremely complete as she has almost everything in her back pocket. Her high basketball IQ is well known when she’s on the court, as it seems like she’s one play ahead always. She’ll have a big senior year at Monroe." -Devin Record, Prep Girls Hoops WA, July 28, 2022 SBLive's 15 Must See Shooting Guards in Washington Girls Basketball for 2021-22 "Maybe true to her personality, Lincoln quietly puts up the numbers - and few notice because the Bearcats aren't a playoff contender. Her talent is boundless as the all-3A Wesco performer was in camp with other USA Basketball U-16 hopefuls last summer." -Todd Milles, April 15, 2022 The Herald's 2021-22 All-Area Girls Basketball Teams "First Team... Adria Lincoln...Lincoln averaged a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds while adding 4.6 assists and 1.5 blocks per contest for the Bearcats. The junior shot 56% from the field and was one of 34 girls to be invited to the USA Basketball Women’s U16 National Team trials last June. " -Herald April 3, 2022 Winter 2021-2022 All-Wesco Teams "Wesco 3A/2A First Team - Adria Lincoln, jr., Monroe" -Herald March 6, 2022 2023 Rankings: Top Combo Guards "6’1 combo guard Adria Lincoln (Monroe HS) has the length, ball skills and all around offensive skill set that Division 1 college coaches like. She can play multiple positions with some ability to play on or off the ball comfortably. Naturally with her size, I project her playing off the ball in college, but in high school Lincoln has enough feel and handle to play the point guard as well." -Nars Martinez 10/29/21 4A/3A/2A Wesco all-league girls basketball Spring 2021 "Here are the 4A/3A/2A Wesco first team and second team selections for the spring of 2021 basketball season, as voted on by the coaches: ...FIRST TEAM... G/F Adria Lincoln, Monroe, soph" -Todd Milles, SBLive July 8, 2021 The Herald's 2021 All-Area High School Girls "All-Area teams were chosen by The Herald sports staff based on coach recommendations, season statistics and first-hand observations. First Team - Adria Lincoln, soph., G, Monroe: Lincoln 19.8 points averaged and 6.1 rebounds per game. First Team - Adria Lincoln, soph, Monroe" -HeraldNet 06/24/2021 2023 Rankings: Top Players at Each Position "The top combo guard is 6’1 Adria Lincoln of Monroe High School. I have seen Lincoln play some at the one, two or three on the floor which bodes well for her future as she could be an interchangeable player for a college at the next level. Lincoln is at her best when she is playing with aggression and looking to make plays assertively." -prepgirlshoops.com by Nars Martinez 03/25/2021 2023 Rankings: New Top 5 "Another Prospect With Size, Skill & Potential: 6’1 combo guard Adria Lincoln is a player I have liked for some time with her size and offensive perimeter skill set. The Monroe High School standout is another player with really good tools to help a Division 1 program. Her exact position on the floor remains to be seen, but that speaks to her versatility as much as anything. Depending on the system and program, she could play the one, two or three at the college level. Lincoln has several schools that continue to track her progress." -prepgirlshoops.com by Nars Martinez 03/23/2021 Player Profile: Adria Lincoln (Monroe, WA) "Adria is one of the smoothest players that I've covered from Washington state. Her style of play is unique where it looks so effortlessly when the ball is in her hand. Lincoln always looks to score by reading off her defender and doesn't think twice about making the right play. She is a catch and shoot threat when left alone on the perimeter and has the ability to blow by her defender for an easy two, or dump off to another teammate. Lincoln is very mobile on the court as she moves very well on both sides of the ball. Offense is a major part of her game but she uses her size and length to an advantage to rebound and block shots at a high rate. Adria Lincoln is a legit Division 1 prospect in the making! " -Tyreese Smith, @pwdbyreese 1/24/2021 2023 Prospects That Were Poised For Breakout Spring Season "2023 6’0 SF Adria Lincoln has the length, mobility and versatility on the wing that college coaches love. She had a strong individual season for a freshman at Monroe High School and she is fresh off her first Division 1 offer from Montana State. Other schools have also been actively getting her on the lines. With the growing momentum even without a Spring season, the 6’0 wing would have really seen her stock rise had she been on the floor!" -prepgirlshoops.com 05/22/2020 Freshmen stars: Top 12 Washington high school girls basketball players in class of 2023 "Adria Lincoln, SF, Monroe: Here’s another lengthy wing scorer, this time from the 4A Wesco. Pair that up with her rebounding prowess, she was a nightly double-double threat." -Scorebook Live 04/2020 Class of 2023: Wings to Know "6’0 SF Adria Lincoln (Monroe HS) – Put together a strong individual freshman season for Monroe, averaging 15 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Has all the tools to work with!" - prepgirlshoops.com 03/19/20 Class of 2023: Prospects with Length "Adria Lincoln (Monroe HS): Adria comes into the high school scene with some Division 1 interest, having played on a really solid Tree of Hope 2023 squad. She has long limbs and a frame that is still filling out, so she should continue to get stronger with time. She is another versatile and skilled player that should make an immediate impact for Monroe who went 6-13 a year ago." -prepgirlshoops.com 11/22/19 |
